I know how you feel. Last year, my daughter was just 4 months old and this year she’s one, she wasn’t quite thrilled to take a picture with Santa. At least she didn’t cry. Here’s my picture: http://sweetestcarolinee.blogspot.com/2011/12/our-little-trip-to-see-santa.html

He is SO cute!!! Girl, I totally understand the whole Santa picture thing. I literally have to do the funky dance to get my kids to smile! LOL. I mean seriously, sitting in an old mans lap probably seems a little scary to kids? LOL http://cantelmofamily.blogspot.com/2011/12/visit-to-santa.html <—-heres our trip to visit Santa. I realize the santa thing is not nearly as fun for my almost two year old as it is for me, Call me a demon, but dude is going to want these pictures when he is older. What I’m saying is, I’m doing this for him. There will be no girl who can resist his charms once they know what a dreamy little toddler he was, even while screaming bloody murder. Or maybe it will totally scare them away to see him in mid terrified yell. Even better.

When my older son was about 2, I was bribing him to be good with some trusty ol’ McNuggets.
    They worked.
Until he sat on Santa’s lap and started screaming, and we got an open-mouthed screaming view of those chewed-up nuggs! Ah, good times!

I was worried about this, but there is this AMAZING photography studio here in utah [im not sure if anyone else has mentioned it] but its called FotoFly. They had an awesome concept where one of the parents dresses up as santa to get your pics, so the kids are not scared and you have unique photos. Plus real santa was on hand, so your kids could still go see him!
