There’s a first time for everything…
And last night we had our first official bath time floater.
At first, he was ashamed.
And then he thought about it a bit…
and realized he was rather pleased with himself.
So pleased with himself, in fact, that he decided to provide us with a
post-bath reenactment.

March 6, 2011 at 11:59 amLOL. that is BRUTAL!
That's just a moment in your life where you go "Really? I'm cleaning pop from a tub….REALLY!?"
Been there. 3 kids and only ONE floater! Lets hope that's just the rule of thumb for motherhood that it only happens once and you can move on π
P.S. He's too much. So cute.

March 6, 2011 at 12:58 pmMy 2 yr old had gone the longest time with out floaters. I had began thinking how lucky I was until . . . It happened.

March 6, 2011 at 3:19 pmMy little boy just pointed and said, "Babay" then I pointed to the picture and said "What's that?" he scrunched up his nose and made a squished-up-nose-blowing-sound, like he does when he poopoos in his diaper. I said poopoo? He smiled and shrugged…
awww well.

March 6, 2011 at 3:19 pmOh my gosh, that is too funny! I never had to experience that with my daughter.

March 6, 2011 at 8:02 pmThat was so funny! My youngest did that 5 bathtimes in a row. When I caught him right before was going to do it again, I made him sit on the potty. He didn't go on the potty and hasn't pooped in the tub since.
Your little guy needs the shirt that says "iPood".
Erica @ Acire Adventures
March 6, 2011 at 9:06 pmHilarious! I remember the first time this happened with our little guy, only he was having stomach problems so it was a cloud, not a floater… Ahem… but his Dad ran from the bathroom screaming like a girl, and that's not an exaggeration at all!

March 6, 2011 at 10:12 pmOh that cracks me up! My little boy will be 2 in June and I kept thinking I was pretty lucky that that never happend. Well it happened… just recently! After seeing your pics, I wish I would of taken pictures of the incident. I was too busy trying to get it out before he started playing with it… not too mention gagging. Gotta love our kiddos, always keeping us entertained!

March 7, 2011 at 2:54 ami can't tell you how many times this happens at our house. sadly…a lot. my babies must get wayyyyy too relaxed in the bath, but the problem is there are other sibling taking the bath at the same time, so now everyone screams and has to jump out. ahahahahaha!

March 7, 2011 at 5:50 amlol! Thanks for my daily giggle. My son is 13 months old and we have yet to have a floater. However my "premonitions" are usually right and two days ago I looked toward the tub while he was bathing and saw a floater in my future. So I am expecting it anytime.
