Enjoy the Journey
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away.
Â
I am kinda a sucker for inspirational quotes. I have about 20 plaques with quotes I love hanging in my home and a box full of them in the garage for the day when I have more wall space to hang them all. This particular quote is one of my favorites and the one that has inspired today’s 10 Things post.Â
Â
So here are the Top 10 Things (Moments) that have taken my breath away:
Â
Reading the Scriptures for the first time, gaining a testimony of Christ and getting baptized with the support of my friends and family.
Â
Â

Â
Â
{Auntie Debbie, my Momma, me, Elder Whearly, Grandma Janice}
Â
The day the man of my dreams proposed to me.
Â
Â
Â
The day IÂ graduated college at USC, as my family always hoped for me {hence picture of me at age 3 in a USC cheerleader uniform}.
Â
Â
The day I married the man of my dreams for time and all eternity.Â
 Â
Â

Â
Â
The day I completed my first Century
{100 mile bike ride…YES, I said 100 miles}.
Â
Â
The day I found out we would be having a baby boy.
Â
Â
The day our little boy entered this world and I looked into his eyes for the first time.Â
Â
Â
Â
The day of Baby W’s blessing, with all my family and friends there to support us, as they always do.Â
Â
Â
The day I completed my first sporting event after giving birth–and my little man was waiting for me at the finish line.
Â
Â
The day we took our little family across the world to a magical place called England–the home of our family’s ancestors.
Â
Â
After completing this post I couldn’t help but feel overwhelming gratitude for the life I’ve been given. No, it hasn’t always been glorious, but is has ALLways been worth it, worth having these moments.
Â
