Silhouette Portrait Giveaway

Yep, I’m still taking my break from blogging this month, but as already promised I’m here to share an incredible giveaway with all of you in celebration of Thanksgiving and Black Friday week.   This is the first of two exciting posts. In this post, you will have the chance to WIN the brand new Silhouette Portrait. And in the second post (going up first thing on Black Friday) you will be given an insanely HUGE discount code to purchase your very own Silhouette Cameo OR Silhouette Portrait. To be sure you get one this holiday season, you’re going to want send your loved ones here on Black Friday (at midnight EST) to see just how BIG this discount is going to be.  I’ll even give you the discount code in advance, because I’m cool like that.  Code: LMM

I just got the Silhouette Portrait in the mail and I am so excited about the fun features and portability that this more compact model has to offer. The Silhouette Portrait has the same motor as the Cameo but is smaller (with a 8.5×11″ surface space)and weighs only 3.5 Lbs making it easily portable. It is able to resize designs from 1/4″ to 8″ in width and up to 10 feet long. The Portrait can cut all the same types of materials that the CAMEO can (including all Silhouette branded materials) and includes a cutting mat that will accept Letter (8.5 in x 11 in) and A4 sized sheet goods. Like the CAMEO, the portrait has an optical scanner so it can be used with a home printer to create print & cut projects. It is compatible with both Mac and PC and includes Silhouette Studio® software—allowing users to create their own designs and cut the fonts already installed on their computers.

Check out this video to see what the Portrait is all about.

For a chance to win your very own Silhouette Portrait, simply leave a comment telling me about the first project you would make with your new craft cutting machine.

For a second chance to win, either facebook or tweet about this giveaway with a link to this post.

Please leave a separate comment for each entry option you complete.

*The winner will be announced on Black Friday (at midnight EST), when I also announce the HUGE Silhouette discount.

  232. I would love to win this Silhouette because my little boys and I LOVE to make greeting cards and other art projects for our family far away, place them in beautiful packages, and mail them off. We think it really brightens someone’s day when they receive a cheery package in the mail with a sweet sentiment ‘just because’. Right now, we use a lot of scrapbook paper and paper cutters, but the three of us would be OVER THE MOON if we won a Silhouette because it means we could take our ‘cheer spreading’ projects to the very next level! We live roughly 700 miles away from our family (and I’m a single mom!) so it’s a very important part of every week for us to let people know we are thinking about them in a beautiful way. Our recipients would be so grateful and impressed with our new projects if we won! (Especially grandma!) Thanks so much for the opportunity!
